![]() On the subject of pictures I can be very very short, they were shot during a small photowalk in Rotterdam lasting less than 1 hour because the time I had with the camera was limited I decided to first get familiar with the camera in the studio and at home and shoot some quick comparison shots during our trip to Rotterdam. Truth being told a camera can grow on you, the remarks you read in this review are based on the experience I have with different cameras and the way the M9 felt in my hands. With digital the list is even longer including all FujiFilm cameras and at the moment I still use the Mamiya RZ67ProII with digital/film back on a regular basis, so I think I can pretty quickly adjust to a new camera and I’m used to doing stuff manually (especially focus). Over the years I’ve shot with a lot of different cameras ranging from the Zeiss folding cameras with zonefocus only, Lomo, 35mm ranging from all manual to full auto (ended up with the R4 from Leica and Mamiya 1000S), Medium format and even some box cameras. Of course some people will say that you need at least some weeks of experience with a rangefinder before being able to do a comparison, I agree and disagree. ![]() In my reviews I however always try to take a 100% neutral view on the products so I have to start by saying that there was NO preference what so ever to start with and the review is 100% my honest opinion. However I also own a Leica R4 with some lenses and I love that camera for analogue, and am also connecting those lenses to my X-E1 and soon Sony A99. Let me start off by saying that I’m a FujiFilm user, I’m good friends with FujiFilm and I’ve been using all their cameras and own a FujiFilm X-E1.

On, Pete Hines stated on Twitter in response to a fan request for information about that game, "It’s after Starfield, which you pretty much know nothing about. It lets us know going into Elder Scrolls 6 this is a game we need to design for people to play for a decade at least, at least." And they love it, they still play it, it's almost infinitely playable, all of the mods and everything like that. Anything we put it out on, it becomes a hit game. I know people joke about it online, but it's one of the best-selling games on Switch. The one thing it does is people are still playing Skyrim, it's still one of the best-selling games. And I think when they eventually see the game and what we have in mind, they'll understand the gap more in terms of technology and what we want it to do. I think that makes people come to it with really, really fresh eyes. On one hand, I think it's good to miss things. On 4 June 2019 in an interview with IGN, Todd Howard said about The Elder Scrolls VI, "I think everyone should be very patient The gap in between is obviously going to be long, it already is. It was also revealed that the then-82-year-old gamer and Elder Scrolls fan Shirley Curry would be added to the game as an NPC using this technology. On 29 March 2019 in a video celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Elder Scrolls series, Bethesda revealed that The Elder Scrolls VI would use photogrammetry technology to scan in real life objects and people to use as game assets. Or at least, I don't think it will change from that based on what I know." It's still going to be those periods of time, that hasn't changed. Timeframe-wise, it would still be about as long as you'd expect when you look at Fallout 3 to Skyrim to Fallout 4 to Fallout 76. the timeframe for Bethesda Game Studios titles has not changed at all. On 8 October 2018 at an interview with Eurogamer, when asked about when fans would get more information about Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, Pete Hines stated, "A while from now and a really long while from now! Respectively. The first thing we do is the world so we've known for a while where it's set." On 28 June 2018, Todd Howard stated in an interview at GameLab that the location of The Elder Scrolls VI had been decided upon "a while ago." When asked if it was possible to discern the location of the game from the teaser trailer shown at E3, Howard stated, "I obviously would say yes … You can rule some things out. He stated later in the interview that it would be released "longer than eventually," relative to Starfield being released "eventually." On 14 June 2018 at an interview with Rooster Teeth, Pete Hines stated that The Elder Scrolls VI will take place in Tamriel. He also said that the technology needed for the game is "getting closer." Pre-production: 2018 On 11 June 2018, Todd Howard noted in an interview that The Elder Scrolls VI is in "pre-production" and was not yet playable. On 10 June 2018, at E3 2018, the company released a teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI. We're pretty clear, TES VI is not in dev." On 9 August 2016, Pete Hines stated that The Elder Scrolls VI "isn't in development," clarifying on 18 October 2016 that "nobody is working on it." On 12 August, 2016, he said, "You're not going to be hearing first details on years before the game comes out, absolutely not." Īt E3 2017, Pete Hines stated in an interview that The Elder Scrolls VI was "down the road." Pre-pre-production: 2016Īt E3 2016, Todd Howard stated in an interview with Geoff Keighley, "Yes, of course we are. Despite 1.04 promising "increased online multiplayer stability," I still had multiple summoned players simply vanish from my game in the course of an hour, clearly the result of a lost connection. Every play session up until the 1.04 patch I'd experience at least one hard crash to desktop, and I haven't played enough since 1.04 to know if that problem's been completely fixed. But two months in, I'm increasingly frustrated by moments of slowdown (and then speeding up as the game catches up to where it's supposed to be) and stutters. I feel like I've been patient, and I've enjoyed my time with Elden Ring despite its technical shortcomings. The developers have at least acknowledged that those problems exist: just after launch, a Bandai Namco blog post stated "We are currently experiencing some issues that are preventing the game from playing properly under some conditions." The post went on to add that they "will be constantly working to improve the game so that it can be played comfortably on various PC environments and platforms" and asked for patience. Logically, Yuyuko should cover up most of my failures with Youmu.probably :>ĮDIT: So after playing around with Netherworld Team I figured out my main problems are that I can't rapidly between Yuyuko and Youmu fast enough and I can't control Youmu's movement well. Since I don't want to fight Reimu and I don't want to play Border Team I'm going to see how Netherworld Team plays out. I decided I'll concede for now and go change character. I decided to stick with IN since that way I don't have to learn how to survive again and after bashing my head into lunatic stage 5 with Youmu, I'm starting to realise that maybe going for a solo character like Youmu on lunatic was probably not a good idea, but at the same time, I don't want to learn a route I'll ultimately not stick to. So a week ago I LNNed which also means a week ago I started a new goal which was (predictably.) scoring. but oh well, I guess only time will tell! I am still sort of unsure simply because I am scared of FREAKING FITFUL NIGHTMARE. I am sure some people here already completed the entire game No Item so yeah what would you do? Keep in mind I am not a COMPLETLY new player but I am no expert either, as already stated before I only have a single 1cc Lunatic (I could probably have at least 2 more if I didn't took a 3 month break in between my 10 months playtime of Touhou overall!), but people here keep talking of about stuff like Lunatic No Miss No Bomb No Border No Ufo No Vertical 1cc runs like it is a everyday thing so by comparison I am still a newbie LOL.ĮDIT: Nevermind the 3 scenes left part, now its down to 2 only because 10-7 went down with surprisingly relative ease. While I really wanna go "Well if I got so far, I should fight until I get it then!", the last 3 scenes are just ridiculous. I already have 72/75 scenes No Item?d, "ONLY" 3 scenes left!. So, lately I have been wondering if getting all the Scenes No Item Cleared in ISC is truly worth it. As of now, I've done 7: 1 to Eirin's non, 2 to Life Spring Infinity, 1 to Half Past 4 (4th last spell) and 3 to Rising World. My original predictions were 4 to Rising World, 2 to some combination of Brilliant Dragon Bullet and Buddhist Diamond and the last one to something stupid. On the other hand, I don't remember whether I posted it or not, but I always believed I would get 7 1MNB runs (including last spells). Quite bad RNG that trapped me almost instantly. Predictably Rising World was the culprit. Not to mention I'm going to have to develop enough skill to dodge the last phase there. I might have to relearn this again using Miduki's strategy and do it in the lower left, even though it seems harder because the purple amulets come in almost horizontally. I did 1/12 before ragequitting and just did 1/4.5 then ragequit again. I know it doesn't but I feel like I still have to check :<ĮDIT: Oh good, I now can't even manage 1/3 in practice. As such, I've gone into a super desperate state of playing around in the centre, lower left corner and seeing if the last phase has any sort of aiming to it. It was bad practice RNG that originally forced me to stop doing it in the centre and start going into the lower right corner but after ~450 attempts like that I haven't really gotten better at reading the pattern. ![]() The weird thing is that using my own records of it, I should be getting ~5/12 (~0.42) but recent practice runs of it have been shoddy. So many runs fail it and after ~1350 attempts at it, I've still not managed to capture it at a rate better than ~1/3. Rising World has put me in a tough spot now. Unfortunately, this also means I probably won't be visiting this board anymore. It was painful for me to listen to themes from games I had decided not to play, but now that I don't care about that whatsoever, I'm free to enjoy Touhou to the fullest again. ![]() The good part is that I still am interested in STGs and still am a Touhou fan. Well, I certainly know I do have the abilities needed to do better, but they're locked somewhere deep, and I don't see a point to use them. Guess I'm not all that good a player after all. I'm tired of dealing with this paradox, I don't want to play games I can't care about anymore. Yet the better I do, the more I start caring, and the worse I do at them. The less I care, the better I do at Touhou games. But most of all, I just stopped caring about going for goals. EoSD and PCB are too chaotic and RNG-heavy for my tastes. ![]() Something about Doom Eternal just felt like cement. Both of them took a level-based and largely linear approach with secrets interspersed around. The first thing that struck me about Doom Eternal is how mechanical it felt. Instead we got a fast-paced murder sprint that pushed the series forward and renewed it. Imagine what it would have been like if we got what was shown off in the Doom IV prototype instead just another violent, brown/grey war shooter. It felt like a modernization of the old titles, embracing the ridiculousness of it and just trying to entertain. I fell in love with the new depiction of Doomguy, the little secrets and throwbacks, and just the game’s general attitude. It washed away my skepticism and presented me something that wasn’t Doom but knew how to stick to the Doom philosophy. ![]() In college, I carried a copy of ZDoom around on a USB drive (a whopping 1GB of storage, this was 2004) and played it on the school’s computers in my spare time.ĭoom 2016 was a dream come true. I recall having a High School friend turn his nose up at me when I said I’d rather play Doom than Halo. It’s over a year later and I’ve got a new processor. I found myself struggling to enjoy it, pushing through it out of the obligation of money spent, and then I dropped it a little past the halfway point. Certain things were just rubbing me the wrong way this was not Doom 2016, this didn’t feel like the next evolution of it. I got a refund and put that money towards the PS4 version. We’d just stepped through the threshold of the year and before we could even find the disappointing snack table, here comes Doomguy with his new game.Īs if things weren’t already bad, I bought Doom Eternal on Steam and found that my decade-old processor had been deprecated and it wouldn’t even launch. I don’t like looking at years - perfectly innocent spans of time - as something that can be containers for misery, but a lot of terrible things happened to the point where I’ll join in and say, yeah, 2020 sucked.ĭoom Eternal (and Animal Crossing: New Horizons) came out at the cusp of everything going to crap. Twenty-twenty was a pretty crap year for myself and, well, basically everyone. |
